She is a tireless community activist and leader on a mission to mentor and encourage the balancing of mind, body and soul in young girls and women locally and nationally.
Honey Shine, Inc.’s 2017 honoree is another dynamic woman, Madeleine Arison, whose philanthropic effort from the beginning has provided opportunities for young girls from various sectors of South Florida to participate in several yearlong mentoring programs including the six-week Camp Honey Shine Summer Enrichment program that serves over 200 girls. Mrs. Arison, the wife of Micky Arison, Chairman of Carnival Corporation and owner of the Miami Heat, is very passionate about the South Florida community and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that young girls from under-resourced communities have an opportunity to excel in education.

In 2014 Honey Shine, Inc expanded from its local presence in South Florida to a National Organization and Brand that includes mentoring programs in elementary and high schools in Los Angeles, CA, and Dallas, TX.
