Campers and Staff spent six weeks on a journey filled with light, love and learning. In its ninth year, Camp Honey Shine has grown to include full-time instruction in the Arts; in the ares of dance, music, and theater.
In addition to robust cultural arts programming, Honey Shine has increased the level of Academic Support offered to Campers to directly combat summer retention loss. With the variety of hands-on learning activities in the areas of STEM, Robotics and Language Arts, our girls are prepared for success in the upcoming school year.
This July marks the ninth year of Camp at the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove, and we have seen an increase in daily attendance rates; with 150 girls enrolled in Camp, we average 130 Campers on-site each day. Our girls are having fun, and looking forward to spending time with their Mentors and fellow Honey Bugs!
