Camp Honey Shine

Camp Honey Shine is a six-week day camp designed to enrich the lives of our Honey Bugs through S.E.L.F. (STEM, Empowerment, Literacy, and Fitness) Enrichment.  Camp Honey Shine provides an environment for Honey Bugs to develop their voice, a strong sense of self- worth and direction in life by exposing them to people, resources, and messages that empowers them to shine.

Camp Honey Shine helps Honey Bugs to build social, physical and mental skills, values and a positive sense of self-worth. Our Honey Bugs take part in a variety of S.E.L.F. Enrichment activities including dance, art, swimming, spoken word, literacy, yoga, character development, STEM classes, educational & cultural field trips. In addition to S.E.L.F. Enrichment, Honey Bugs receive a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack daily.

Camp Honey Shine is located at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove, FL. Our summer camp is open to Honey Bugs ages (5-18) enrolled in Honey Shine’s After-School program, “Aspire to Shine” Workshops and throughout Miami-Dade County.

Open enrollment for Camp Honey Shine begins early April.
